Super Bowl LV is just around the corner so it’s time to start planning for those delicious Super Bowl snacks! Whether you’re cheering for the Chiefs or the Buccaneers, you’ll want to fuel up for the action! Check out these super easy and fun snacks that you can make in 3 simple steps (or less!). 

1. Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches 

Who doesn’t love a throwback to their childhood on gameday? 

Ingredients:

Directions:
  1. Form 6 sandwiches with bread and cheese. 
  2. In batches, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the sandwiches until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes per side. 
  3. Cut each sandwich into quarters before serving. 

2. Single-Serve Nacho Cups 

Nachos are a game day classic and single-serve nacho cups allow for personalized perfection! Nachos can be made so many ways so feel free to change it up and add anything you’d like!

Ingredients:

Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400° F. Line a muffin tin with tortilla chips, breaking to cover the bottom and line the sides. 
  2. Divide the cheese among cups and bake until the cups are heated through, cheese is melted, and edges are browned, 9-11 minutes.*
  3. Just before serving, top each cup with sour cream, tomatoes, jalapenos and a squeeze of the lime wedge.

*If you added protein, alter step 2 as follows: Divide ⅓ of the cheese among the cups. Divide ½ of the protein among the cups, top with half the remaining cheese. Top with the remaining protein and finish with cheese. Bake until the cups are heated through, cheese is melted, and edges are browned, 9-11 minutes.

3. Pigs in a Blanket

Pigs in a blanket are a fan favorite that you can’t go wrong with!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 package of hot dogs 
  • 1 8 oz. sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 tbsp of milk 
  • 1 tbsp of sesame seeds 
Directions:
  1. Heat oven to 400° F. Cut hotdogs into quarters. Cut puff pastry into strips 3 inches long and 1 inch wide.
  2. Roll the sausage pieces in the pastry and transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet. 
  3. Create an egg wash mixing together the egg and the milk. Brush the top of each dough wrapped dog and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake until golden brown, 15-20 minutes. 

4. Spinach Artichoke Dip

Add some vegetables to that Super Bowl spread. 

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup of nonfat Greek yogurt 
  • ⅓ cup of reduced fat cream cheese 
  • ¼ cup of finely grated parmesan cheese 
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1 10 oz. package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 14-ounce can water-packed artichoke hearts, drained and roughly chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Crusty bread, tortilla chips, pita chips, crackers or veggies. 
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Whisk the yogurt and cream cheese together until no cream cheese lumps remain. Stir in the Parmesan, salt, and garlic powder with a spatula or wooden spoon, then stir in the spinach, chopped artichokes, and mozzarella.
  3. Spread the dip in an oven-safe baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes, until the dip is bubbling at the edges. Serve warm with crusty bread, tortilla chips, pita chips, crackers or veggies.

5. Cookies and Cream Popcorn

Add a sweet ending to your Super Bowl Sunday.

Ingredients:

  • 10-12 cups popped popcorn 
  • 20 Oreos, finely crushed
  • 24 oz of white chocolate 
Directions:
 

  1. Place Oreos in a zipper seal bag. Cover with a dish towel and use a meat tenderizer (or any hard utensil) to smash the Oreos. Do this until the Ores are finely crushed. 
  2. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, mixing in between, until melted and smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the popcorn, melted chocolate and crushed Oreos. Gently stir to evenly distribute the toppings. Let it sit for a few minutes to settle before serving.

Pro tip: You can also use chocolate chip cookies and milk chocolate for a twist on cookies and cream!
