Fruity and Boozy Cocktails
1. Grapefruit Prosecco by Noble Pig
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup Cointreau or orange liqueur of choice
- ½ cup grapefruit juice
- 2 cups prosecco
- 4 grapefruit wedges for garnish
Directions:
- Pour one tablespoon of orange liqueur, two tablespoons of grapefruit juice, and a ½ cup of prosecco into each of four chilled champagne flutes (or wine glasses). Stir slightly with a long-handled spoon to mix.
- Garnish each glass with a small grapefruit wedge and serve immediately.
2. Pineapple Mango Rum Punch by Paper & Stitch
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 3 oz pineapple juice
- 3 oz coconut rum, light rum, or dark rum
- 1 oz mango juice
- 1 oz orange juice
- Optional: Splash of grenadine, lime slices, orange zest, edible flowers for garnish
Directions:
- Combine all juices (pineapple, mango, and orange) and rum. Stir and pour over ice.
- Optional: add a splash of grenadine for color. The grenadine will fall to the bottom and give the drink a pretty ombre look.
- Garnish with a lime wedge, orange zest, and/or edible flowers.
3. Aperol Paloma by Salt & Wind
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ oz 100% agave silver tequila
- 1 ½ oz grapefruit juice
- 1 oz Cointreau or other orange liqueur
- ¾ oz Aperol
- ½ oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- Ice cubes
- Lime slices for garnish
Refreshing and Impressive Mocktails (Alcohol-Free)
1. Virgin Orange Moscow Mule by Skinny Taste
Makes 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 orange
- 1 cup ice
- 6.8 oz light ginger beer
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Directions:
- Slice the orange into quarters, then cut 2 to 3 slices for garnish and set aside.
- Juice the rest of the orange and place it in a copper mug (or any glass). Fill the glass with ice to the top. Add the ginger beer and garnish with orange slices and mint leaves.
2. Virgin Lime Margarita by Up and Alive
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
- Limes cut into wedges
- Ice
- 1 ½ oz fresh lime juice, about 5-6 limes
- 1 ½ oz fresh lemon juice, about 1-2 lemons
- 3 oz simple syrup
- 1 ½ oz sparkling water
- 2 tablespoons salt
Directions:
- To salt the glass rims, place salt on a plate and set it aside. Take a lime wedge and place it over the rim of your glass. Swipe it around the glass until the rim is wet. Tip the glass upside down, setting the rim into the salt. Repeat this process on the second glass.
- Pour the lime, lemon, simple syrup, and sparkling water into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Close the shaker and shake to combine and chill.
- Pour the drink equally into each glass. Add a wedge of lime to the rim and serve.
3. Virgin Cosmopolitan Slushy by Food by Living
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sparkling water
- ½ cup cranberry juice
- Juice of ½ a lime
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Optional: granulated sugar for the rim
Directions:
- Add all the ingredients except for the sugar into a blender and lightly pulse until all the ice is ground.
- For the sugar rim, squeeze a bit of lime juice on the rims of the martini glasses and dip the rims in a plate of sugar.
- Pour the virgin cosmo slush into the martini glass and serve with lime wedges.
