1. Browse

So what is Flipp? Flipp is a shopping utility app that uses your zip code to deliver thousands of ads for the stores closest to you. From your weekly grocery ads to your local hardware store, Flipp has it all. 

The simplistic layout makes it easy for you to use the browse screen to discover what’s new, or select a specific category for a more targeted shopping experience.

2. Search

If you are looking for a specific item or store, you can utilize the search page to find what you are looking for. The great thing about using search for specific items is that you’ll be able to compare prices from different stores to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

3. Shopping List

Another great feature Flipp offers is the Shopping List. Add items to your list by simply typing in what you want or selecting something from the list of recommended items. Once you’ve added an item to your shopping list, you can click the item to be shown all the relevant deals. If you want to cross something off your list, you can select the checkbox found to the left of the item name.

4. Watch List

Do you have specific items that you are always interested in? Then Watch List is something you are going to love. Add these items to your Watch List and opt-in to be notified every time there is a new deal. Watch List can be found in the Lists portion of the navigation bar.

5. Viewing an Ad

Whether you are scrolling through the Browse screen or using the Search feature to find a specific ad, you will see different badges that give you key information about the deals in the ad. These include:

• Preview: The deals are not valid yet, but you can get a sneak peek at what’s to come. If you click into the ad the valid dates will be listed at the top. 
• New: The ad has been published recently and you have not opened it.
• Days left: You’ve opened the ad and it will tell you how many days before the deals expire.
• Ends Today: Signifies that today is the last day that the sales are valid.

6. Item Details and Clipping

Once you open an ad, there are a few ways you can interact with it. If you’d like to learn more about an item, click and hold the item. This will enlarge the item and provide some additional details. 

If you would like to save the item, or as we like to call it, clip the item, you just need to tap the item once. This will draw a circle around the item and save the item so you can find it in your shopping list later. This makes it easy to save all of the best deals you find, compare them later, and make sure that you are saving as much as possible!
